Malvirà embodies the Damonte family’s passion for wine, carried forward through three generations. Founded in the 1950s by Giuseppe Damonte, the winery was born to express the soul of the Roero region. In the 1970s, it took the name Malvirà, and in 1989 it moved to its current location at the foot of the S.S. Trinità vineyard.
Today, Massimo and Roberto, together with the third generation — Giacomo, Francesco, Pietro, and Lucia — continue the family tradition, crafting elegant and authentic wines that showcase the character of Arneis, Roero, and Nebbiolo.

The Roero DOCG Riserva Renesio is a Nebbiolo of great elegance and personality, sourced from the renowned Renesio vineyard. After fermentation and maceration in stainless steel, the wine matures in wooden casks and completes its aging in the bottle, achieving perfect balance and complexity.
It displays a ruby-red color with orange hues and an intense bouquet of dried rose, tobacco, spices, and mint. On the palate, it is powerful and deep, with notes of earth, blueberry, and chocolate.
Perfect with lasagna, lamb, braised meats, game, and aged cheeses, it has been certified organic since the 2017 vintage.
