Crissante Alessandria

Barolo del Comune di La Morra 2021

SKU: P3408S

This Barolo is born from the harmonious union of three historic vineyards in La MorraRoggeri, San Biagio, and Bettolotti — each contributing its own unique character: the strength of calcareous and clay soils, the elegance of sandy layers, and the finesse of marl. The vines, planted between 1957 and 2016, grow at 220–280 meters above sea level and are hand-harvested in early October.

After a long four-week fermentation and 18–24 months of aging in large Slavonian oak casks, the wine rests further in bottle to refine its elegance.

In the glass, it shows a bright ruby-granate color, with aromas of cherry, ripe strawberry, and dried apricot, while the palate reveals a full-bodied, refined, and velvety texture, supported by silky tannins and a pleasant freshness.

A Barolo of great balance and depth, capable of evolving for over twenty years — perfect to pair with meat dishes, roasts, aged cheeses, or to be enjoyed on its own as a meditation wine.
