Mersault 2023

This Meursault has all the characteristics that make it so famous worldwide: when young, it's rich in nutty notes (almonds, hazelnuts), very floral and with ripe fruit, along with a touch of butter, elderflower, occasionally honey, citrus, and apple. On the palate, the wine is rich, with a touch of butter, and integrates perfectly with the nose.

Janots & Bos craft their Meursault the way they like it: the characteristics must derive from both the vineyard and the winemaking process, using approximately 30% new barrels to support the wine, without overwhelming it with notes of vanilla and wood.

With aging, this Meursault develops into a large and complex wine with tertiary notes and brioche, all well-integrated by a touch of butter.
