Barolo DOCG Vite Talin is the result of a story rooted in patience, respect for nature, and the preservation of diversity. This wine pays tribute to the encounter between Luciano and Talin, the longtime owner of a historic vineyard overlooking the Castle of Barolo, and to a singular 100% Nebbiolo vine from which it all began.
First identified in 1987 for its distinctive characteristics, this vine was carefully studied and preserved for over twenty-five years, until genetic analysis in 2017 confirmed it as an exceptionally high-quality Nebbiolo clone. Vinification follows a traditional, artisanal approach, with fermentation using indigenous yeasts and extended maceration. Aging is remarkably long: three years in wood, followed by a minimum of three years in bottle.
Released only six years after the harvest, Barolo Vite Talin shows an intense garnet color, a broad and complex aromatic profile, and a deep structure supported by firm tannins. A Barolo of strong identity and outstanding aging potential.
