Barolo Bussia Vigna Mondoca Riserva 2019

Bussia Vigna Mondoca is a Barolo of remarkable elegance and depth, produced in only 3,500 bottles. The grapes are selected with the utmost care both in the vineyard and in the cellar, then vinified with a long maceration of around 30 days and malolactic fermentation during the winter months.

The wine is aged for 36 months in 30-hectoliter oak casks and, in the finest vintages, it is released as a Riserva, spending a total of five years aging in the cellar.

On the nose, it reveals refined notes of small red berries, dried rose, and balsamic hints, which evolve into tar-like (goudron) nuances. On the palate, it shows finesse and balance, with powerful yet silky tannins and a long, complex finish.
