Barolo Galina 2020

This Barolo, 100% Nebbiolo Michet clone, comes from the Galina vineyard in La Morra, a site of remarkable character where young vines grow alongside historic plantings on calcareous-clay soils with marl in depth. The south-facing exposure and careful hand harvesting ensure grapes of exceptional concentration and finesse.

Traditional vinification with long maceration and aging for 18–24 months in large Slavonian oak casks, followed by another two years of bottle refinement, create a wine of great elegance and longevity.

In the glass, it shows a brilliant garnet red color with intense aromas of ripe red fruits, dried apricot, and fine vanilla. On the palate, it is warm, velvety, and well-balanced, with noble, silky tannins that enhance its structure and lingering finish.

A Nebbiolo of refined complexity, capable of aging for over 20 years, perfect as a meditation wine or paired with roasted meats and aged cheeses.
