Barbaresco DOCG 2022

Prunotto’s Barbaresco is produced from vineyards in Treiso and Neive in the Barbaresco area, it’s the elegant expression of Nebbiolo. An aristocratic wine yet accessible and pleasant. It is aged in large oak barrels of varying capacities to enhance balance and softness on the palate.

The 2022 Barbaresco is garnet red in color. The nose is refined and elegant: floral sensations of rose and violet blend with notes of undergrowth and fruity aromas of raspberry, red berries, and blackberry. The bouquet is rounded out by hints of sweet tobacco, licorice, and black pepper, accompanied by balsamic notes. On the palate, it is elegant, full-bodied, velvety, and characterized by a lingering aftertaste.
